Sema is a catalog name for a GLP-1 receptor agonist analogue of human GLP-1(7–37), used in the literature as a laboratory tool for GLP-1 receptor signalling.

Medicinal-chemistry descriptions of this analogue include an aminoisobutyric acid substitution associated with resistance to DPP-4 cleavage, an arginine substitution, and a fatty-diacid chain on a lysine that increases albumin affinity.
